About the Job

We are looking for a veteran and driven Wix Studio Developer to handle all things website and landing pages for us - we believe that you can have the greatest traffic in the world, but if your website affairs aren’t in order you’d be as well burning your money. This role is critical in driving the success of our ad campaigns and ensuring our clients achieve their growth objectives. The ideal candidate will be a maverick who knows the Wix Studio platform inside out and understands exactly how to structure landing pages using every possible UX advantage.

Responsibilities of the Role

You’ll be responsible for ideating, planning, building and optimising websites and landing pages for clients in a variety of industries. Your job will be to understand client objectives, create effective design strategies, and ensure the highest conversions possible. Here’s a breakdown of your responsibilities:

• Wireframing & Mockups: You will create wireframes and mockups to visually map out website structures. This includes understanding the user journey, identifying the most effective layouts, and integrating UX principles to guide the user's interaction towards conversion.

• Buildout and Development: From ideation to launch, you'll take full ownership of the development process within Wix Studio. You'll build responsive, high-converting websites and landing pages, ensuring seamless integration of all required features. This includes optimizing for speed, functionality, and scalability.

• Conversion Analytics: Post-launch, you’ll monitor key performance indicators using tools like Google Analytics or Wix's integrated analytics features. You’ll be responsible for setting up tracking pixels, heatmaps, and funnels to measure visitor behaviour, goal completions, and overall site performance.

• Conversion Rate Optimisation: You’ll continuously test, tweak, and improve landing pages based on analytics and user feedback. This means implementing A/B tests, adjusting design and copy, and iterating on-page elements to optimize for maximum conversions.

• Coded Solutions: While coding isn’t required, you’ll be responsible for finding solutions to complex technical issues. Whether it’s adding custom code to enhance functionality or finding the right developer to handle the job, you will be the point person for ensuring the problem is solved.

Requirements:

• Expertise in Wix Studio: Mastery of Wix Studio is an absolute must. You should have a portfolio showcasing advanced designs, landing pages, and websites built on Wix, demonstrating deep familiarity with the platform's capabilities and limitations.

• UX/UI Design Knowledge: You should understand UX/UI design principles and be able to implement them effectively to create seamless and intuitive user experiences, guiding users to take the desired actions.

• Detailed Eye: As you’ll know better than anyone, there’s nothing more embarrassing than delivering the ‘final draft’ only for the client to see a button not working and a bunch of typos - you’ll quality assure things before the client/market sees them.

• Audience Focus: Ability to deeply understand client target audiences, how they interact with websites, and make design and layout choices that appeal to the audience and drive them to take action.

• Problem-Solving Skills: You need to be proactive in identifying technical issues or design roadblocks and quickly finding or implementing solutions, whether it’s through code, platform tools, or outsourced help.

• Collaborative Mindset: You should feel comfortable working closely with our marketing team and clients. Clear communication and the ability to translate complex web design concepts into understandable terms are key.
